Coffee Slingers Install

I created a set of platters for the windows at Coffee Slingers downtown OKC. The project came together nicely. Glass wise I learned a lot and installation wise too. It was a fun project and I am pleased with the out come. If you are interested in a custom art glass installation just let me know.

Paseo

Thank you okc for coming out to the paseo. We will be there all weekend long.

Edmond

We have been accepted to show at the Downtown Edmond Arts Festival in May.
I hope to see you there.

Paseo

Yippie! I just got confirmation that we have been accepted into the Paseo Festival this year!

Photo Shoot

Tyler Siems came to the studio on Sunday and did a photo shoot.

OKCMOA Ornaments and Parties

Today is the OKCMOA Ornament Class. It is a great way to learn. Ornaments are repetitive and allow the glassblower to execute multiple skills in a short amount of time. Creating ornaments is great for learning and perfecting skills.
This class has four people and four hours. We usually get about five or six ornaments created per person.

We have been hosting a lot of parties lately in the studio. Times are filling up quickly but if you would like to come into the glass studio for a party call quickly to schedule.

Open House

It is our big open house this weekend.

Ornament Time

Wowza, time did a major forward jump. Ornament orders are due. Bunches to create this next couple of weeks.

Calendar Update

I have updated the calendar at the studio. It is posted until the end of December.
Come in and sign up for your preferred time session. Things fill up quickly with parties and events this time of year.
Don't forget the Istvan Gallery Open House on November 9th 6-10.
The Annual Christmas Home Show is November 30, December 1 and 2 10-5 all three days.

Ice Cream Social

I have been neglectful of posting as of late. It is difficult to do when time runs the way it does. I renew interest and falter.
Bringing me to the ice cream social this weekend. The 28th of October. It is 2-5 that afternoon. Always a good time. Please come. Bring family and friends. Hang out. Have a couple of scoops.

Rain

It was one of the best evenings in the studio that I have had in a while. Looking forward to seeing the work tomorrow. Something about the cool weather and rain made it real sweet.

Holiday Weekend

We are working some this weekend. Saturday around 11 til 4 or so. Listening to barista's discuss the zen of pulling espresso shots.
